Heiko Mueller
Wonderfully creepy and just plain strange artwork of Hamburg-based, Heiko Mueller. I love this first drawing the most.

Junichi Tsuneoka emailed me to say hello and I followed the link to his portfolio. I really like his little flyer designs – they have quite a unique style to them.
Illustrations by Kristiana Parn. Acrylic and pencil on wood. Just gave me a bunch of ideas for the children’s book I still want to make.
It turns out Emily Wong (Ninja vs Penguin) is obsessed with hair! Whenever she’s feeling really stressed she busts out the graphite – haha I love it. The hair in this first drawing actually belongs to Ophelia Chong, small world!
This is great to see – lettering by Maxwell Lord created the good old fashioned way, by hand. Like the old saying goes: “Fineliners before mouse clicks!” (No one says this, I made it up) Thanks for the email Max.
How about a collection of 1950′s film posters re-illustrated by Yann Lebec. No? Too bad! I’m forcing them on you. These are so AWESOME. I have to admit that I do have a little bit of an obsession with film posters.
Ehren Salazar is easily one of my favourite artists, and I am extremely privileged to call him a friend. I dug up a few of his drawings and I think you will quickly see how insanely talented he is. We went to college together and I remember his portfolio was filled with hundreds of these ridiculously detailed pencil drawings – I just told him about Etsy so hopefully he puts a bunch of his work on there.
Ehren is also currently running a galleryspace called Little Mountain Studios here in Vancouver, and you can definitely expect to see us working together in the new year.
