I put this mix together from some of some of my favourite live performances by Beastie Boys. I wanted to include ‘Somethings Got to Give’ specifically because MCA used to always preface it by talking about non-violence so when I think of him I think of this song.

Recently Radiohead got together in producer Nigel Godrich’s studio to perform their most recent album, In Rainbows, for VH1. View the performance here. I haven’t actually seen it because VH1 has decided to shutout Canadians from viewing any of their content online. THANK YOU VH1.

Despite VH1′s best efforts I have managed to get the entire thing in mp3 for you all, and considering the fact that Radiohead is one of the ugliest bands EVER this might be the best way to experience their performance anyways. I think it’s a lot easier to take a band seriously when everyone in it is ugly, I mean they definitely weren’t put together to market anything – they are too ugly remember! Oh to have the skills of an ugly person who remains in the spotlight for any extended period of time! Anyways…
