The new Annalemma just landed on my doorstep! If you picked up We Are The Friction, and you’re looking for another publication that combines shorts stories and art, look no further.
Foam Magazine kindly sent over their double-issue, Talent and it’s as thick as an encyclopedia. It is fantastic. Find it now! They continue to be the best photography publication on the rack. If you can’t find it, you can always improve your situation by throwing yourself off a cliff onto spikes.
The incredible Monster Children Photo Issue just landed on my doorstep!!! I have been following this Australia-based magazine (and gallery) for a long time now, and they had a big influence on the way I designed Booooooom. If I had my own magazine, this issue would make me want to put C4 in my trunk and drive through the front window of my warehouse. Many magazines out there need to take notes or give up. This it how it should be done!
Calling all students – my friends at Anorak want you to draw them a happy cover! But maybe you don’t want the exposure! Maybe you don’t want to have your artwork sitting on the shelf in places like the Tate Modern (they stock Anorak)! Do you? Get the full details here.
PS – I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this magazine is so so sooo amazing.
Another rad publication arrived at my house this week, HUH. Magazine. It’s a color newsprint magazine packed with art and photography. If you take a look at the top right corner, you’ll notice the best part – it’s FREE.
You can find it in bookshops and galleries in London, Stockholm, NY, Chicago and Paris and if you want to order it online all you pay is postage! I was stoked to see Jerry Hsu’s photography featured in this issue (side note: his part in Bag of Suck is one of the greatest of all time).
