Paintings by self-taught, Milan-based artist Dario Maglionico (click here for previous post). Maglionico’s work explores perceptions of time and the possibility that the events we live occur simultaneously, like overlapping traces.
Check out more images below and new works on display at his upcoming show, “Sincronie”, at the Visconti Castle in Legnano from September 4 to December 18.
Milan-based artist Briancoshock turns abandoned manhole covers into fully decorated miniature rooms. While amusing, the installations are part of a larger commentary on the extreme living conditions in which many people are forced to live, such as the situation in Bucharest where over 600 people are living in the sewer system. More images from “Borderlife” below.
Bianca Luini is a 22-year old fashion design student in Milan and she’s created one of my favourite Tumblrs: Where I See Fashion. The concept is really simple, Bianca finds fashion photos and pairs them with other images she finds on Tumblr. It could easily be a forgettable project but the way she matches compositions and colours is fantastic.

And the award for most beautiful photography publication goes to, Milan-based, 0-100 Editions. There are 100 copies of each edition, each filled with wonderfully curated images, printed on high quality paper (you could frame the prints, they’re that good). Cristiano graciously sent out all of the editions thus far. Bonus marks for all the Canadians in the latest edition! Thank you Cristiano!
