Debacle.

Nike Skateboarding just sent me over their new skate video, Debacle and got pretty excited when I realised it was a Blu-Ray disc! This is the first skate video to be shot entirely in HD! And I’ve got good news for any of you who like to throw on a skate video while you work (I do it a lot) – for one more week you can download the full HD video for free right here.

Onwards by James Jarvis

Lovin’ this animation by James Jarvis. Directed by Richard Kenworthy, and music courtesy of Caribou (”Crayon” was a great choice). Nike did sponsor this piece but I am enjoying this trend of really unobtrusive marketing.

The cherry on top for me is the fact that the music is a remix of Ennio Morricone’s “Ecstasy of Gold” (The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, aka the best movie ever made and my favourite soundtrack to draw to).

A-Trak & Lupe Fiasco!

The latest buzz on the net has been about the latest Nike+ Original Run mix by A-trak (I liked the one Aesop Rock did awhile ago). These mixes are specifically crafted by the artists for you to workout to.

Many sites have been posting up either the first single (a section of this mix cut out to be a single) “Like Whoa” or the sampler of this mix. But what I have for you is an original cut with Lupe Fiasco that didn’t get cleared! MORE…

Guy Ritchie for Nike!

Ever wonder what it’d be like to play for Arsenal? Me neither! Take a look at this anyways! Guy Ritchie’s latest handiwork for Nike is better than his last two films! Take a look at the 3 minute director’s cut of his latest ad:
