This is the third video we produced for MTV and Sony Xperia, and it features Little Scream! Nada and I are huuuge fans of hers so this really was a dream come true to have her be a part of this project.

In keeping with the unconventional instruments theme, we paired up Little Scream with sound designers Lo and Joseph and circuit benders from Toronto’s InterAccess Electronic Media Arts Center! Together they completely reinvented her song “Canons”. Albert Huh did a superb job capturing this performance. He’s been filming and editing all the videos in this series, and deserves a massive shout out!

Hopefully this video pumps you up to spend the weekend building your own instruments! You still have a week or so to get your submissions in, and remember we’re giving away Sony Xperia phones and Booooooom goodies as prizes!

100 people packed into Zulu Records to collaborate with Bend Sinister for the latest installment of Playground. The last video (see here) kinda spelled out the process a bit more clearly but essentially this project is about changing the concert experience. People get to sing and play and create with a band rather than spectate.
