Another great magazine showed up at my door, Living Proof. It’s got a nice selection of art and photography, even some design. Interviews with Ron English (cover art), Mars-1, Kevin Lyons, and House Industries among others. Great print and paper quality, and it’s as thick as an Archie double digest. Calling all photographers! GRN Apple Tree has just launched a little photo contest! If you have a photo that fits the theme of “Nature VS Structure” submit it! The winner gets $500, their photo printed on t-shirts in an upcoming season (copies for yourself), and press credit for the creation. You must be owner of the submitted work. Eric Tabuchi has just released a book, Alphabet Truck. The photos in the book represent thousands of kilometers of driving over a span of four years. I also snagged an preview of Alphabet Truck 2 (work in progress), and a look at his previous book, Twentysix Abandoned Gazoline Stations.
