Letha Wilson
Photo sculptures by Letha Wilson. This first one is so awesome.
Another great magazine showed up at my door, Living Proof. It’s got a nice selection of art and photography, even some design. Interviews with Ron English (cover art), Mars-1, Kevin Lyons, and House Industries among others. Great print and paper quality, and it’s as thick as an Archie double digest. Oh yes, this little guy’s FREE!
Calling all photographers! GRN Apple Tree has just launched a little photo contest! If you have a photo that fits the theme of “Nature VS Structure” submit it! The winner gets $500, their photo printed on t-shirts in an upcoming season (copies for yourself), and press credit for the creation. You must be owner of the submitted work. Submit your photos via Email or via Flickr.
“The Photographic Dictionary is dedicated to defining words through the literal, figurative, and personal meanings found in each photograph.” – The Photographic Dictionary.
The project was created by Netherland’s Lindley Warren. The photos here are ones that my friend Jennilee Marigomen contributed to the project. This first one is her favourite (and mine too) – it is the photo for the word, Lost. If you are a photographer, they are currently accepting submissions! Head on over there.
Eric Tabuchi has just released a book, Alphabet Truck. The photos in the book represent thousands of kilometers of driving over a span of four years. I also snagged an preview of Alphabet Truck 2 (work in progress), and a look at his previous book, Twentysix Abandoned Gazoline Stations.
