This looks terrific! “Everybody Street” is a documentary about New York City and the iconic street photographers who have captured it over the years. Heads up, there’s a couple graphic images in the trailer. Watch below!

Max Marshall and Paul Paper have organized an interesting photo show, opening August 2nd at Signal Gallery (New York). Each selected 100 photographers, and randomly paired them up. Each pair of photographers then selected an image from each other’s portfolios for the show. So in the end it’s a show of 200 images, curated by 200 people.

Last week there was a comment that the photographers I was featuring all had large followings but it was really the first week where that was the case. I’ve made a conscious effort to feature people here with smaller followings, hope you enjoy.

The folks at Inventory have designed and published a gorgeous clothbound hardcover book called “Queen of Tsawwassen”, named after one of the old BC Ferries. The book was curated by Twelvebooks (Japan), and features the work of five emerging Canadian photographers, Ali Bosworth, Seth Fluker, Jennilee Marigomen, Dan Siney, and Chris Taylor.
Inventory is hosting the book launch this Saturday at 8pm, and has graciously given me a copy to give away to one of you! The book can be purchased here.
Leave a comment below telling me your favourite thing about British Columbia, or if you’ve never been here, tell me why you’d like to visit! This giveaway is open to everyone! I’ll pick a winner next Friday!
