And the award for most beautiful photography publication goes to, Milan-based, 0-100 Editions. There are 100 copies of each edition, each filled with wonderfully curated images, printed on high quality paper (you could frame the prints, they’re that good). Cristiano graciously sent out all of the editions thus far. Bonus marks for all the Canadians in the latest edition! Thank you Cristiano!
Waterfall Magazine just landed on my door mat, and it is stunning. I’m telling you, it is one of maybe four publications I would pay money for. I believe it’s a bi-annual publication based out in Taiwan, so it might be a little tough to get your hands on it.
Montreal-based Palimpsest is an unbound magazine comprised of prints, literature, audio, textile, and video!
Hair’em Scare’em is awesome! 200+ pages of hairy art and photography. It’s easily the hairiest thing to land on my doorstep since Emily Wong sent me this.
The first issue of File Magazine was so good that my expectations were really high for the second issue. I am happy to report this ain’t no sophomore slump! Issue #2 includes a DVD with over 3 hours of short films, music videos and documentaries!
People keep saying that print is dead, but amazing publications keep showing up at my door. Enter Factory Magazine. Keep your eye on these hooligans, Vancouver is exploding right now!
