I am a bit late posting this but I wanted to mention that my pick for best magazine cover in 2009 was Geoff McFetridge’s artwork for Huck Magazine and Little White Lies. I believe this is the first time something like this has been executed by two different magazines (I could be wrong).
Moriarty over at Ain’t It Cool News recently posted a great interview with Spike Jonze. If you are half as excited for Where The Wild Things Are as I am you need to read this interview! Now someone just needs to turn Strega Nona into a movie and my life will be complete (I love kids books if you haven’t noticed).
In case you haven’t heard, here’s the trailer for Synecdoche, New York – written and directed by Charlie Kaufman, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, and produced by Spike Jonze. Needless to say I have really really really high expectations for this one.
