Been seeing a lot of these selfie stick images circulating the net recently and was trying to figure out where they were from. The image above, from Terminator (the best I’ve seen so far) was shared on Twitter last year. Since then a Tumblr has popped up called Guns Replaced with Selfie Sticks sharing similar images from popular movies, and it appears they take submissions. More images below.
*Update April 28th 2016 – We are continuing to update this list, removing Tumblrs that are no longer updated very frequently, and adding more as they are submitted. Please read the text below before submitting your Tumblr for consideration! Thank you all for the help, this has become an amazing resource – let’s keep it going!
I am compiling an extensive list of all the art and photography Tumblrs worth following. I would love your help to make this the ultimate list! Please leave a comment below with your suggestions and I will update this list with the best suggestions.
This list will focus as much as possible on Tumblrs that survey new work by different people and credit the creators of the images. Please do not submit Tumblrs that only focus on one person’s work (ie. your own personal portfolio) or mood boards that do not make any effort to link back to the source of the work.
Please share this with friends, the more input we have the better this resource will be!

A few years ago Google launched the Google Art Project, as a way of providing virtual tours of gallery spaces. Now Barcelona-based artist Mario Santamaría has created a tumblr called The Camera In The Mirror where he collects images of the Google camera capturing itself in a mirror.
There’s something unsettling about the camera’s ghostly appearance; the images almost look like stills from a Kubrick film. More images below.
Bianca Luini is a 22-year old fashion design student in Milan and she’s created one of my favourite Tumblrs: Where I See Fashion. The concept is really simple, Bianca finds fashion photos and pairs them with other images she finds on Tumblr. It could easily be a forgettable project but the way she matches compositions and colours is fantastic.
