Flying Lotus
My friend David Lang just returned home after snapping photos on tour with Flying Lotus, and he kindly invited me and Harrison (defgrip) to the Vancouver show! So while he snapped his shutter, we enjoyed the music. Here are some shots from the tour!
Night Vision
Night Vision went down Friday night at Strathcona Park and several hundred people showed up to listen to music, chill out, and enjoy some photography. There was a little incident with the sprinklers but there’s nothing like a group shower to spice up a party! Huge props to Natasha Lands and Jennilee Marigomen for making it all happen!

The first three shots are courtesy of Julian Hecht, and I shot the last two from my blanket!
Wild In the Streets!
Vancouverites! Tomorrow (June 21st) is Emerica’s Wild In the Streets: Go Skateboarding Day! This will be legendary as the entire Emerica team is here! Meet at down Skate Plaza at 1pm.
The video below is from last year! 1:26 min mark is epic!

My Pecha Kucha!
As promised, here is my presentation at Pecha Kucha here in Vancouver. I was a bit nervous as I don’t normally speak in front of 500+ people and it was tricky to do it without any control over the slides but I survived!
View the video below!
Thank you Cause+Affect!
Last week I spoke at Pecha Kucha Vancouver Vol 6 and the 500+ seats in the theatre were all spoken for, the place was PACKED! This week I’ve been getting email after email from people who attended the event and I owe all these connections to Cause+Affect. They are the design studio that has been hosting Pecha Kucha here in Vancouver, and I was honored when they asked me to speak.
This is a little promo video (made by the good folks at Salazar) which shows what Cause+Affect are about and near the end there’s a bit of footage of Pecha Kucha. There is a video of my presentation coming and I’ll post it up as soon as it’s available.
Steven and Jane – thank you so much for the opportunity to speak I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Thank you to all of you who made it out on Thursday and those of you who couldn’t make it but supported me in spirit! I felt it!!
