“Looking For America” by Photographer Edouard Sepulchre

A collection of distinctly American scenes taken in entirely different parts of the world by French photographer Edouard Sepulchre. As he states:

“Since the 50s, American iconography has provided us with a new kind of visual vocabulary. So much so that in every day life, the old car, the parking lot, the wide-open spaces, the desert, the abandoned town, etc. My first trip to the American West was like a revelation. I was interested in photography. Since then I have been searching the world for a second time, just for the pleasure of being there and elsewhere at the same time.”
