“Family Portrait” is a still life photography & art collaboration with designer Selena Liu and her ceramic pieces.

“Family Portrait” was inspired by the adjectives that come from describing the silhouette of a shape. Each description seemed to personify the ceramic piece, giving it a story and some might say a gender.
I had certain characteristics in mind as I created the ceramic pieces. Each had its own unique story; each captured in a portrait used to accentuate its personality.
