I started this window painting during my self-isolating at home from March 2020. It was inspired by the mass-produced “window view” poster my mom used to put on my wall. The blue being framed in the high-positioned window welcomed my vision while simultaneously excluded my touch. As a connection and slice of the inside and outside, this window was enticing yet prohibitive. People find alone at their most vulnerable time and loneliness motivates us to observe, to meditate, to look back at life, and to explore more of our self-interiority.
