Walk in the Neighbourhood

I live in a beautiful tree-lined neighbourhood in Vancouver, Canada; a blessed escape in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis. I collect fallen blossoms during my regular walks around the old heritage streets and intuitively arrange and expose them (using daylight) on light sensitive paper. The slow, meditative process of collecting, arranging and exposing helps me stop and absorb the rhythm of my local environment. The flora I used in this series is a collection of seeds and flowers from American Elm, Horse Chestnut, Pink Rhododendron, and Magnolia trees.
