Allison Peitsch is best known for her vivid and visceral depictions of reality. With a love for color she paints highly chromatic and cerebral images influenced by emotion and psychological theory. As a bridge between pop-art and surrealism, she finds inspiration from science fiction, human anatomy, psychology and geology. Allison works in oil paint and began creating art in college. While she is currently attending a RISD CE program, she is primarily self-taught, living and working out of her home in Sarasota, FL.
