My work uses a Marxist lens to explore the interrelated themes of alienation, exploitation, and cultural hegemony and their relationship to capitalism. I want my photos to make people conscious of how capitalist forces impact our actions, while also suggesting it doesn’t have to be this way. This world is always synthesizing and we, as artists and people, need to both interpret it and transform it.
