Rachel began producing performative and experimental images at 15 years old. She completed her BA Fine Art Photography Degree at the University of Derby, England, where she explored traditional image making techniques under the tutelage of British photographer John Blakemore. She is now based in Vancouver, Canada, where she has worked as a picture framer, model and artist. Inspired by the landscapes of the Pacific NorthWest and Northern England, her two homes, she is a multidisciplinary artist who uses her practice to emotionally respond to the environment. Her group exhibitions in the city include the Annual International Mail-In Art Exhibition (Federation of Canadian Artists, 2016), West End Photography Society Showcase (West End Community Centre, 2019) and Beyond the Ark (The James Black Gallery, 2019).
