  • thanks everyone,
and anittle, i use a few different cameras. these shots are mostly from my yashica t4, but a few are from my old olympus stylus epic.

    • i gotta get me one of those super t4’s i’ve been looking for awhile but not ready to pay so much on Ebay.

      • jeff: i was in the same boat too, but i eventually got tired of waiting and ended up getting an okay deal. the camera is worth it though– my yashica and i, we were buddies from the start.

      • yea i’m about ready to cave in as well – i actually don’t even have an ebay account which is kind of ridiculous

Check out the latest batch of 3D-printed sculptures by artist and inventor John Edmark (previously featured here). Based on the same geometrical ratios found in nature, Edmark’s spiralling “Blooms” come to life when spun under a strobe light specifically synchronized to flash at every 137.5º turn. See more images and full video by filmmaker Charlie Nordstrom below!

Our friend Brendan Monroe’s show “Mammatus” just opened at Curator’s Cube in Tokyo. We stopped by the space last week and it all looked fantastic — a nice mix of drawing, painting and sculpture (especially loved the ceramics). The shows up until the 29th so if you happen to be in Japan go go go. Have a look at more images below!
