Drew Young / Interview

Drew Young / Interview
I don’t often make back to back posts about the same person but I watched this interview with Drew Young after I had already published the post below.

Drew says some really nice things about me and Booooooom in this video (almost nice to the point where I didn’t want to post it because I don’t wanna be pumping my own tires) so of course I gotta deflect all the praise back to him. He’s my favourite painter in Vancouver and I’ll continue championing his work until everybody knows who he is.

Watch: “Kaytranada & River Tiber” by Hamish Lambert

The second episode in our 6-part series of animated shorts for Red Bull Music Academy is now online! This second episode features 2016 Polaris Music Prize winner Kaytranada and fellow Canadian producer River Tiber discussing their first encounters with music.

The playful visuals were created by animator Hamish Lambert, with sound and music by Luigi Allemano. Make sure you hit full screen or watch it nice and big over on Booooooom TV!
