Photo-realistic painting always blows me away.
it’s not often my cup of tea but i quite like the cropping choices and the almost hyperreal aspect to these
human hands+brushes reproducing photos doesn’t seem like a worthwhile pursuit, but I love her works especially some of the collaborations she is doing with her husband!
Photo-realism does help developing an eye for subjects I think. It’s not as easy as just duplicating it with a scanner. In the end you will always somehow see the hand of the creator in a photorealist work… That said, I like this artists’ work, and there’s definitely a twist to he work, not entirely photo-realistic per se (what does that mean anyway? ;) )
Just because y’all suck at photorealism doesn’t mean you need to try to make it seem like a worthless field of art.
Ok, now my beard is getting offended… :p
You can admit this hipste r eee tattooed chick has more talent in her pinkie than any of you. ;)
woah these are bloody insane!
The 6th image is so striking
Can you use Year/Month/Day for the article date to at least fit into some alpha/numerical order? This silliness of putting the day first in your Eurocentric date formatting is retarded since the day is tertiary in date-field organization.
beautiful stuff. curious at the process, anyone have any links/info on it?
