Collection of Google Earth Anomalies by Artist Clement Valla

Valla26

Rather than view these Google Earth distortions as glitches in the global mapping system’s algorithm, Brooklyn-based artist Clement Valla considers such occurrences integral to it — drawing our attention to the process rather than the illusion the software is designed to create. Check out more images from Valla’s collection, titled “Postcards From Google Earth”, below!

This totally reminds me of Sim City 2000, when you try to build a road on an incline and messes up. Probably the same glitch. Maybe.

      Haha I remember this

So taking screenshots makes one an artist?

    • In this days if i collect something that i didn’t do, i can presume that i am an artist like this guy Clement Valla or Richard Price

That’s what I was thinking, the 8th one is Golden Gate Bridge, and when I checked it on Google earth it was just fine! He’s not even that good at Photoshopping, LOL.

2- What’s a bargain bin movie that’s actually really good?

3- How many times do you think you’ve stolen something in your life?

4- Describe your favourite procrastination technique.

5- What’s a unique question that I can use for a future 5 Questions post?
