Lego Bowser
Remember how I was hoping to find a Lego version of Ren? Well I still haven’t found one, but this Lego version of Bowser is pretty cool!

Graphic designer Tim Fraser Brown reproduced Manet’s ‘Bar at the Folies Bergere’ using over 5,000 pantone chips to liven up a party he hosted at his design studio!
We already established that Yasmine and Kyle draw everyday, today I learned that Jeff Kennedy does too. Jeff (great name by the way) loves fishing and is attempting to draw flies everyday for a year! That’s commitment! I love that… I mean, committing to things for long periods of time is not my favourite thing personally, but I love when other people commit to things like this.

If you don’t like fishing you are stupid. The only other possibility is that you are actually a fish yourself, and somehow surfing the internet underwater.
Aled Lewis is one of those illustrators you are secretly jealous of because his designs get chosen to be made into shirts on Threadless and designbyhumans over and over again. Would you like me to tell you why that is? It’s because the designs you’re submitting are ones that have already been rejected by other clients and you’re just trying to make some money off of them in a last ditch effort! Aled’s designs, on the other hand, are all well-thought out, brilliantly detailed, illustrations actually worth buying!
Jude over at Run 4ist Run and I are definitely on the same page! Jude has started a great little collaborative project called “Do Not Leave Unattended“. The project is about sharing images, insights, stories, quotes, anything to inspire others (kinda like here!), and it’s open to anyone. It’s as simple as signing up and a notebook is sent to you. Then you have two weeks to draw, collage, paint, write something, or paste in photos. After your little piece is complete you’re in charge of passing the notebook onto someone else you know.
I randomly stumbled upon this amazing little Stimpy made out of lego by Adrian Florea. I looked through his portfolio and was a little sad I couldn’t find a lego version of Ren. There are several cool looking robots on his flickr page but I’d really like to see more lego versions of cartoon characters!
Tomer Hanuka has added a few pieces to his portfolio since I was last there! If you are unfamiliar with the amazingly talented Hanuka brothers, be sure to check out Asaf Hanuka’s work as well! Oh and Asaf’s wife is also a pretty talented illustrator!
20 Days. 140,000 cards. Nerves of steel. Guinness record holder Bryan Berg’s Olympic Village crafted entirely out of playing cards. Whenever I see something like this, it instantly reminds me of The Jenga Tragedy. Hahaha that never gets old!
