Photographer Alex Markow collaborated with artist Magnus Sodamin to create these psychedelic images. Models were covered in fluorescent paint and lit with a black light inside Sodamin’s colourful floor-to-ceiling installation, “Infinity Split”. More images below.
Don’t know how I didn’t stumble upon these sooner. Insanely detailed, hand-crafted marbles by Mike Gong distort as you turn them in your hand. See more of Gong’s designs below.
Trippy Meta Video of the Day: Google’s Acid Trip Generator Analyzes Acid Trip Scene in ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’
Deep Dream, Google’s artificial neural network analyzes and builds on patterns in video or images, and can be programmed to look for specific things. For instance the network can be programmed to look for animals and faces, and if a cloud in a video clip looks like vaguely a bird, the network will exaggerate this detail with each pass. Someone had the bright idea of having Deep Dream analyze an acid trip scene from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the results are kinda terrifying.
