Video of the Day: What Director David Fincher Does And Doesn’t Do

david-fincher-analysis

This weekend I watched David Fincher’s latest film, Gone Girl, and then my friend Abi sent over this great analysis of the specific way Fincher tells stories. The video below is from filmmaker Tony Zhou’s “Every Frame A Painting”, an on-going series of video essays on all things film. This makes me want to go back and watch Gone Girl again (this video does not contain any content about Gone Girl in case you’re worried about spoiling it).
