Artist Eliza Ivanova was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. At the age of twelve, she started taking private art lessons in the atelier of Garo Muradyan with the intention of going to the art academy in Sofia. After graduating high school she decided to study film and animation and moved to Los Angeles to attend CalArts. She graduated in 2010 with a BFA in character animation and currently works as an artist and animator at Pixar.
