New embroidery works by Los Angeles-based artist Michelle Kingdom (previously featured here). Drawing inspiration from literary and historical references as well as personal memories and mythologies, Kingdom’s intricately detailed scenes often depict women, either gathering in groups or confronting natural elements alone.
