Booooooom TV Best of the Week: Music Videos, Short Films & Animation

A round-up of our favourite videos featured on Booooooom TV. This week’s selection includes a variety of projects offering creative perspectives and important insight into very personal journeys!

Safia – “Resolution”

The video for Safia’s track “Resolution” doubles as an inspiring portrait of Mongolian sumo wrestler Tuvshinjargal Bum-Erdene. Directed by George Thomson and Lukas Schrank of London-based studio Visitor.

“Eli” by Nate Milton

New York City-based animator and designer Nate Milton uses his own life story as inspiration for this magical short about imagination and mental health. Original score by Milton’s longtime friend and collaborator, Buck St. Thomas.

Jordan Hawkins – “Lost” feat. oghosthaze

An exploration of the trauma of dishonesty in a relationship for Jordan Hawkins’ track with oghosthaze. Directed by Brooklyn-based Henry Kinder, “Lost” is set in the post-apocalyptic land of wasted potential and hidden dangers.

“35” by Del

Featuring a beautiful cover of “Forever Young” by Liniker, Brazilian director Del sheds light on the brutal reality of hate and violence in Brazil, a place where the life expectancy of transsexuals is just 35 years.
