German photographer Thomas Pirot explores suburban Florida in his series “Sunbather”. Taken in 2016 in and around the city of Cape Coral, the images are an observation of time and place: “the 2016 presidential race and hurricane Matthew gave every aspect of life a feeling of imminent danger and a weird aura of romance and melancholy seemed to engulf the neighborhoods.”
