In a world of smart phones and heavily-instagrammed family lives, French photographer Julien Magre’s family photos stand out. He has been photographing his children and wife for years in an intimate and tender way, creating images that feel somehow both candid and also carefully considered. He has amassed a large archive of photos, through which we can watch the passage of time through the growth of his children. Based in Paris and represented by Le Réverbère, Magre has published multiple photobooks and shown his work in both solo and group exhibitions.
