“Where The Land Gives Way” by Photographer Jake Reinhart

Born and raised in Southwestern Pennsylvania and currently based in Pittsburgh, photographer Jake Reinhart’s (previously featured here) series “Where the Land Gives Way”, is a reflection of the landscapes he’s been steeped in for most of his life. Informed by the region’s history, Reinhart’s work explores the importance of place in relation to the formation of identity and community.

“Where The Land Gives Way” was originally published as a photobook by Deadbeat Club in 2017. As the book is currently sold out, and because the world needs all the pick-me-ups we can get right now, Reinhart and Deadbeat Club have put together a pdf version, available to everyone as a free download.
