Lifestyle photographer Gem Hale has been using photography as a visual diary since he first picked up a camera at 12 years old. Living and working in Austin, Texas, Hale explains that his goal every time he makes an image is “to capture the beauty of what I’ve been provided.” His interest in fine art comes through in his photographs, elevating his everyday experiences and, as he describes, capturing his affinity for life.
