A selection of images by Rio de Janeiro-based portrait photographer Rodrigo Oliveira. He photographs a diverse range of subjects, exploring expressions of identity and culture with his images. Currently documenting the queer BIPOC community living at the peripheries of Rio de Janeiro, Oliveira describes the series as “a work that empowers a minority within minority group often marginalized, aiming to deconstruct the misrepresentation of queer bodies in the media through the expression of queer culture, gender bending identities and social resistance.”
