CV — Mindful Professional Profiles

Our good friend Andy Chung is an insanely talented designer and he’s just launched CV, a simple platform for building yourself a professional profile in minutes. He describes it as “more link-in-bio sized than LinkedIn and more dynamic than a PDF”. LinkedIn has always felt noisy and obnoxious to me, so much so that I can’t ever bring myself to use it. CV on the other hand is pared down to the point it feels completely silent—I love it. I was literally able to setup my own profile before my pasta noodles finished boiling!

Now I want to clarify this is not an ad. I’m just a fan of Andy and the things he makes. For me, CV is a glimmer of hope that in the near future we all might actually be able to delete our LinkedIns, our Instagrams and our Facebooks, and replace all those hellish experiences with meaningful alternatives—platforms that might actually show us some respect and be, I dunno, useful?

Try out CV for yourself, I think you’ll like it.
