A selection of images by Oregon-based photographer and designer Marissa Marino. With an interest in creating images addressing themes of consumerism, land use, and people’s connection their physical environment, Marino credits her rural Colorado upbringing and her undergraduate degree in environmental science as central to her photographic perspective. “Whether it’s landscapes, portraiture, or architecture, my aim is to draw out the details in my subjects that might otherwise be overlooked,” she explains.
