New paintings and drawings from Dutch artist Martine Johanna (previously featured here). Johanna’s latest works represent an investigation into one’s “internal psychic landscapes” and reflect the varied spectrum of feelings contained within each subject as well as the artist herself. Presented in both hyper pigmented and gray scale versions, each figures’ focus is turned inward as they appear unconcerned with the viewer’s gaze. See more images below or on display through Hashimoto Contemporary until April 24.
