Based in Athens, Greece, Alexis Vasilikos (previously featured here) is a visual artist and co-editor of Phases Magazine. Consisting of photographs taken during daily walks in various parts of the world, Vasilikos’ photobook, “Variations of Presence,” exemplifies his practice of observant exploration, which he refers to as “peripatetic photography.” Likening his process to “meditation in action,” he describes his images as “imbued by the energy of contemplative seeing and stillness.”
Vasilikos is represented by CAN Christina Androulidaki Gallery.
