A selection of images from “Suspension”, “Fiesta”, and “It was already Thursday”—a group of works belonging to photographer Alvaro Deprit’s “Rendez-vous, Things that happen”‘ project. Based between Italy and Spain, Deprit is interested in the narrative nature of identity as an “emerging process” influenced by our relational experiences. “Rendez-vous, Things that happen” looks at community, the search for identity, and feelings of vagueness and uncertainty linked to what he describes as “the movements, encounters and flows of existence”. He elaborates: “they are contemporary tales and the imagery that characterizes them is placed between the dreamlike and the documentary.”
