A selection of recent paintings by Düsseldorf, Germany-based artist Pia Krajewski. Walking the line between abstraction and realism, Krajewski’s biomorphic forms feel simultaneously otherworldly and vaguely familiar. Born in Cologne, Germany, Krajewski studied painting at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Dietmar Lutz and Andreas Schulze. Since graduating in 2018, she has participated in artist residencies and various exhibitions throughout Germany. Some of her paintings are currently on view at GOMO Art Space in Vienna, as part of a group exhibition, “None of These Things.”
