Yimiao Liu is a Chinese artist currently living and working in New York. She explains that her practice explores “the connections between all forms of organic life and the role of consciousness in these cycles.” Mainly focused on the female body, her drawings depict “moments of self-destruction that can lead to a short bloom that brings the viewer to experience eternity.”
