Roman Spataro is a photographer and multimedia artist based in New York City. Taken during the summer of 2019, the images in his photobook, “Home Before the Harvest,” capture the nostalgic glow of summer days near his family home in Pennsylvania. Of the work, Spataro says: “The body of work explores themes of summertime, fruit of the unintentional nature of early life, and the beauty of the blurred line between reality and fantasy within our distant memories.”
