Growing up in Switzerland as the second of seven siblings, Seline Burn found comfort in drawing at an early age. She found her love for painting more recently, while studying illustration in Lucerne, Switzerland. “I have always been keen to present my work in the manner of a journal, fueled by recent experiences, distant dreams, and internal processes,” Burn explains. She summarizes these intangible themes in clear, colorful interplays of light and shadow, using her art as a means of expression and allowing the viewer a glimpse of her inner life.
