“The Swimming Pool” by Artist Fernando Bittar

A captivating series by Brazilian designer and illustrator Fernando Bittar. “The Swimming Pool” is a personal project intended to convey the sensation of being taken over by a strong emotion. The pool serves as a metaphor, transitioning through the stages of being surrounded by water, coming up for air, and diving back down again. As Bittar explains further:

“It’s also about the journey of exploring, going more profound, and finding new spaces that elicit a state of awe through their vastness combined with a feeling of warmth. Meant to be given as a gift, I think it touches on sensibilities that are both universal and very particular at the same time.”
