Artist Spotlight: Enikő Katalin Eged

Enikő Katalin Eged is a Budapest-based illustrator and pattern designer. With a love for illustrative narratives with “driving dynamics and a strong atmosphere,” Eged’s work centers around familiarity — “somehow connecting or reconnecting a common recognition of small details and memories.” The main themes she explores in her work are animals, still life, emotions, and visual storytelling. In addition to her primary practice, she also really loves making lofi-styled illustrations, and she has a sapphic art-themed website called Azzurro Velluto.
