A selection of work by New York City-based artist Yadi Liu (previously featured here). Influenced by movement as well as the commingling of illustration and modern art, Liu’s vibrant digital images are characterized by her fondness for abstract shapes and curvy lines. Drawing the edges of different shapes is her favourite moment when creating.

“For me, art is my way to demonstrate my understanding of beauty. This beauty originates from different sources and presents different formats, such as body, nature, architecture, relationships, etc. My favorite themes are the ones that have a close connection to my inspiration and understanding of life, movement, emotions, femininity, and culture.”
