A selection of recent work by London-based freelance photographer Elena Heatherwick. Specializing in portrait and documentary photography, conversation and connection are at the heart of Heatherwick’s practice. Her work has brought her all over the world, from capturing the life-changing work of midwives in Haiti to the importance of clean water and functional toilets in Madagascar. “Each encounter is an opportunity to learn, to exchange ideas… it’s a total privilege,” she says.
