“Close to Home” by Photographer Kalum Ko

A personal series by Canadian photographer and director Kalum Ko. Currently based in Brooklyn, “Close to Home” is an ongoing project inspired by Ko’s upbringing in Kimberley, British Columbia. Set in the Kootenay region, it examines people’s sense of belonging and the emotional push and pull of whether or not to stay in your hometown.
