A selection of recent work by artist Yuwei Tu. Born in Sichuan, China, Tu is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting and Printmaking at Yale School of Art, class of 2026. Tu uses a layered process that articulates the nuance and complexity of interior worlds. Informed by personal experiences and investigations in the construction of identities and relationships, her paintings create a visual language of the self and psyche. This body of work is from Tu’s first solo with Rusha & Co in Los Angeles last year.
