A selection of work by Beijing-based illustrator and graphic designer Yue Zhang. Zhang’s work draws on everyday life, seeking out beauty in the midst of chaos. Creating narrative solely through visual imagery, she often takes inspiration from amusing interactions she observes, blending unrelated moments together.
“My work gives visual form to inner feelings and experiences. I see each creative process as an adventure, specializing in the translation of text into vibrant visual narratives.”
Yue Zhang participated in our 2026 Book Award and made our shortlist.
